This explosion happened early on a Tuesday morning.  The photo above was actually taken several miles further away from where we were in proximity to the volcano.  I ran out of our house trying to take a picture, but the cloud was too close and I could only get a small part of it in the picture frame.  The cloud spread over the city and then changed direction before any ash fell in our area.
